Nexus 7 shipping started by Google, Early preorders are on their way to new Home

Nexus 7 Preorders Have Begun Shipping

Google has officially announced that they have begun shipping the Nexus 7[1]. Following the unveiling at Google I/O[2], the Google tablet is a very desired device specially for it’s $199 price tag. It’s not just the awesome price that makes it a thing to wish for. It’s also the quad-core hardware that runs Jelly Bean[3], the new version of the Android OS, so well.

During their event, Google surprised the attendance at the conference by giving away, a Nexus 7 tablet to each one (the gift also includes a Galaxy Nexus[4] and Nexus Q[5]). Since then, a lot of test and impressions about the tablet have flooded the internet. Even though some encountered few problems[6] with the device, the general opinion is positive and Google has done a great job, even exceeding expectations.  The early preorders for the Nexus 7 will ship today and tomorrow with the latest tablets arriving on July 20th, according to the Google 2-day shipping policy.
