LG Quick Voice introduced in Korea, Siri and S-Voice competitor from LG

LG Quick Voice introduced in Korea, Siri and S-Voice competitor from LG

LG launches its own Siri competitor in Korea

So, we have seen Siri on Apple iPhone 4s, then there is S-Voice on Samsung’s newest flagship model, the Galaxy SIII, (thanks to xda community, S-Voice ported to work on other smartphones[1]). Must we mention all the alternatives flooding on the Play Store that have most if not the same characteristics? LG didn’t want to be left behind with this type of interaction with the smartphone so they went ahead and implemented their own service called LG Quick Voice. What does it do? Pretty much everything S-voice can do on the Samsung Galaxy SIII[2]. It can answer your questions about weather, open apps, set reminders and alarms, search the web, make phone calls and few other things. Also, like its competitors, Quick Voice will offer search functionality for maps, weather, stocks, and web search. and all sorts of other things. LG’s virtual assistant will be available for the Optimus Vu and Optimus LTE 2[3] via software updates arriving in July that will also upgrade the devices to the new version of Android â€" Ice Cream Sandwich.
